I like your characterisation. Best scene was the "Which Robin Hood do you like most" scene. I had to laugh. Very good issue.

I love what you do with all of the family, and the interactions between all of them are great. The only criticism i have is that you kind of spend a lot of time on pop-culture references-- Rock Band, the Cowbell thing and several specific Robin Hood movies just in this issue. It kind of takes me out of the story a little bit, and sometimes it feels a little bit forced. But other than that, your characters are great, and the story is progressing nicely. Riddler next issue brigs a lot of promise and it's an exciting thing to look forward to. You do a great job and I think we're all glad to have Batman in your hands

"It's the goddamn Batman!"
Priceless.
Nice continuation of the series. I like the cameos of all Carrie's friends. Black Canary showing up was a bit of a surprise (I was under the impression she operated out of Star City), but it's probably best Bruce has someone outside of his "family" that he can trust.

I thought it was a great issue, as usual. There's lots to love here.
The funeral scene is captured very well, you don't dwell on it long, but you can really see a lot about Carrie and the people that remain in her world, she's truly in good hands, and you can tell that.
The scene with Batman and Black Canary was great as well, shows how unified the universe really is, the extended family you're building up to here is equally exciting and a nice touch that you bring to the UDCU version of the characters.
I like the way you characterize Batman in particular here, reliving the experience of his own childhood and so devoted to bringing her parents killers to justice that he's missing on out taking care of her - it's an internal battle I suspect he'll be waging for some time to come.
The Robin Hood scene was classic - really tells you all you need to know about these characters and their world views. It's great touches like these that are a hallmark of your writing. Classic, classic stuff.
The promise of the Riddler coming up is really exciting as well - I look forward to seeing everyone's reactions to what you do with him.
All in all, as always, a top notch job.

It is a truism that with as much good fanfic as there is at the DC3 and 2 sites, it's hard to keep up with all of it, or read it in timely fashion.
This issue struck me as nothing so much as what Miller should have done with All-Star, and not just because of the reference, either. More has happened in two issues than in the entire run of that book while it lasted.
Interesting to see ALL of the "kids" are here; from Dick right on up through Batman Beyond. Wonder what you're going to do with all of it; and what the Riddler is up to!
