HOLY...! That was AWESOME! I especially liked the part with Barda throwing the rod into Kanto's face. That guy deserved to get beat up by her after their "chat" a few issues ago. Wow. Liked the Kalibak and Orion fight. Did Orion kill him? I felt bad for Scott and Barda...both locked up at the end...well one longer than the other lol. Miracles. Great issue and I have a few pretty big ideas of where to go from here. Also I loved the cover by jorell. Liked the coloring of them on Apokolips. Nice work man. I've enjoyed this run a lot.

WICKED cover on this issue!
I refuse to read this issue until I've read the earlier ones, and sadly I'm at work so there's no time. Definately a title I intend to read up on, though. I just wanted to give props for the awesome cover!
Just a suggestion: I know it's a bit of extra work, but in the "Please tell us what you think of this issue!" text, I'd recommend putting the names of the writer and cover artist, just for clarity's sake. It's a thought, anyway...
That said, AWESOME cover. I will be reading this issue as soon as I catch up with the other 5!

HOLY...! That was AWESOME! I especially liked the part with Barda throwing the rod into Kanto's face. That guy deserved to get beat up by her after their "chat" a few issues ago. Glad you liked it so much! Yes, Barda and Kanto was definitely a plot thread which I wanted to do something with- it would have been longer at one point, and Kanto would have had more of a purpose, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Really, despite the fact that Barda was captured, all the villains had their comeuppance... though Darkseid has a thing for snatching victory from defeat! Heh, Kalibak got pretty badly pounded but he's okay. It's really the only time in the series Orion got to go totally all-out, which is always fun! I think Barda's story was inevitably going to go that way, in the end- she helps Scott escapes and the jailer ends up jailed herself... but the point of course is that she *chose* the path which got her locked up and, because of that, she's more 'free' as a prisoner than she ever was as a Fury! And of course, Scott.... I really wanted to include that scene as an epilogue once this became my final issue. Thanks, and I really enjoyed writing it- without this, I would never have ended up over on the DC2 either so my gratitude to all involved! And man oh man, those covers were something, right? Can't WAIT to see what you do with all the characters I've grown to love, and can't wait to see the next amazing covers Jorell turns out! The thinking there is probably just that the names are at the top where they're the first things you see, in old fashioned comics style! I hope you enjoy them and yeah, I cannot thank or praise jorell enough. From Orion's poise to the detail on the bodies to the firepit and the Kirby dots.... perfection!
