too bad the mini is over already. I had a lot of fun reading it. Scott, you did a great job in giving the Magnus brothers a voice. Loved their conversation. Especially when David talked to the waiter. You seem to have some knowledge about what to do with drunks Very good. lol I hope to see the team return in some way. The ending at least suggests that there might come an ongoing out of this

He figured that, as young people, we would find the information useful. I have ideas. Not plans, not stories, just ideas. Thanks for reading and commenting and thanks for giving me the opportunity to write this. -UDC

Overall, this series was a lot of fun; it has an interesting premise, engaging characters, beautiful covers and was well written--- but this issue was the weakest of the three . I was looking forward to a slam-bang conclusion with the Psion armada, a more menacing (or at least more fully realized) Computo, some depth to the other Metal Men (though Hourman and B8 come off very well)--- and less angst from the Magnus brothers; too much page space in an already overly brief issue was devoted to them, especially given the fact that the LSH are advertised on that awesome cover, yet other than Brainiac 5 (who I kept confusing as Brainiac 8 ) no single Legionnaire was even mentioned! Computo went down way too easy (this had the potential for so much story--- you could have built years-worth of storylines around it, making it a grim futuristic staus quo), and I did not really feel the big death in this issue. The surprise guest star came completely out of left field, but it felt right--- and hints at so much more to this title! I think this story needed more pages or another issue to do these ideas justice. Don't get me wrong: I did enjoy this issue, but I was expecting more from it, which means you will just have to continue the story in an ongoing series as soon as possible! I am eagerly looking forward to it!

Yeah, I can understand if you felt it was anticlimactic. But here are the things: -If the Psion armada attacked the Earth, it wouldn't have anything to do with the Metal Men at that point. -The point of their mission was to shut down Computo before it's activated. And it wouldn't make sense for it to be activated in the midst of the Legion vs. Metal Men fight. -The other Metal Men...to be honest, I didn't know how to develop them. And considering they were erased from existence by the end, it seemed better to develop the time-travelers (and the Magnus bros., who lived on). -The Legion could have been handled better, but then again i'm bad at writing massive fight scenes. This is another problem I have; rushing through ideas. But i'm working on it. And i'm glad that least Booster worked. Well, i'm glad you enjoyed it, but i'm sorry it didn't meet your expectations. But, again, I don't think I have enough to make an ongoing work. Thanks for reading and thanks for commenting. -UDC

Totally bummed that this is over. I thought there was a lot of potential here as well. There is a lot that I will not reiterate that both Riz and David have already mentioned, but I do think this is the weakest of the three issues.
However, this was still a fun issue, and I actually enjoyed the Magnus brothers scene the most, but then that's sort of my cup of tea anyway.
An excellent story through out, even with a bit of a weak ending it was worth taking them time to read.
The writing and art on this book are of high quality. Kudos and thanks for the ride.

If the weakest of the three is still worth 4 stars, I think i've done something right. Thanks for the kind words. Glad you could enjoy the series. -UDC
