No offense or anything, but the Rogues are far more interesting than Bart and co. Len, Digger, Rory and now Dillon are all setting up for something big, and i'm really looking forward to it.
That's not to say that the Flash Family is boring, however. Bart and Iris play off each other well, and Wally...well, he's Wally. There's nothing else to it.
Dunno what's going on with the Church of Speed (Weird name) or Max Mercury, but i'm looking forward to it.

Glad to hear you like the Rogues, there's definitely some big stuff coming up for them. They seem to be the most popular part of this series, so you can believe they'll be coming up big in things to come, believe me. You're going to see more from Wally in the coming issues as well and hopefully you'll get to start seeing him as being more than just "Wally" and more like "The Flash". I hate when authors say stuff like "don't you think it's intentional I did it that way" when they don't properly communicate their intentions, so I'll simply hope that you stick around and feel free to let me know if next issue gives you more of a sense of the resident hero. But thanks for the kind words, hopfully you'll continue to enjoy what's coming down the road.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Bart is soooooooooooo coooooool. Oh man, I miss him so much in the real DCU But you definately nailed his character in the first scene. LOVED it!!! Oh man, this is an awesome story. The Church, the Rogues, MAX (hell yeah!!!), Wally trying to calm down Iris Can't wait to read the next issue.

As before, I absolutely love it. Not to echo UltimateDC, but the Rogues are the real highlight of this series. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest you've read Geoff Johns Flash and enjoyed it, because a lot of the interaction and writing in your Rogues scenes definitely reminds me of it. I can't wait to see where this is going long-term. The interactions between Iris, Wally and Bart are pitch-perfect. Iris is portrayed as a strong, independent character, and Bart made me chuckle the whole way through the issue, especially as he trief to beef himself up only to be dressed down by Iris! My only criticism here is that I do have to echo the above- Wally is barely a presence in this book. I get that it's the Flash Family, but it honestly feels like the Rogues, Bart and Iris all have bigger roles than the Flash himself! You've already said we'll see more from Wally in upcoming issues though, so it looks like my biggest complaint will soon be nullified! Sorry it took me so long to comment, but I look forward to seeing the truth about this church of Speed and what exactly the Rogues will do next.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Glad you're enjoying it, hopefully the next one lives up to it. But since Merai brought this up, I figured I ought to respond: As before, I absolutely love it. I'd certainly be lying boldly if I suggested anything else, his run is definitely a large influence. I liked a lot of what he did with the Rogues specifically, and The Flash in general. The spotlight issues he did for the Rogues were great and Flash 182 stands out as maybe one of my all-time favorite comic issues. I'm just sorry he didn't get to do all of them, I'd have loved to see Weather Wizard in particular. I didn't like everything he did, mind you - pretty much every new Rogue he introduced, I hated, but what he did with the classic Rogues was some inspired stuff.

I am SO sorry this took me so long! From the first scene you do a great job with this-- the mother-in-law joke is perfectly unexpected and a great nervous laugh. And I agree with Riz, your Bart is adorable Adding in all the intrigue and unanswered questions, you're really starting with a bang, and you've got plenty of great things to do with the series as it keeps on going.

As with the first issue, this was picture perfect. The writing is top notch and the characterization is dead on. The rougues are written so well that I'm flashing back (no pun intended) to Geoff Johns' run on the series.
I had a feeling that the figure from Broome street was either Max, a returned Barry or even an aged Wally or Bart... nice to see it was Max. He's a great character.
I was wondering what is the status of Jay Garrick now? No mention of him since the beginning of issue #1.
Great stuff. Looking forward to more!
