I look forward to seeing the cover that this title gets, and it's great to see Gina step in and get us one, so thanks for that.
This issue opens up with a nice scene between Barda and Desaad, doing a good job to show Barda in a positive light so to speak, a diamond in the rough that is Apokolips. Kanto proves to be interesting here, he's just as slimey as he should be, you can practically feel the bile oozing off his words.
New Genesis proves to be Apokolips' polar opposite, bright, sparkling and clean. It shines well as a reflection, but seems less developed here than its sister planet, certainly less realized - though I'm sure that's coming in future issues.
I liked the interraction between Scott Free and Barda, there's a lot that you play around with here, and you can't help but root for the poor bastard even though you know he's not getting out of things so easily. It'll be interesting to see if or how they finally come together.
The interraction between Highfather and Orion is also noteworthy and it should certainly prove to be exciting to see where they are headed. The message from the source should only increase the tension more about what's going to happen when Orion steps foot on Apokolips.
Lots going on here, lots to be excited about. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one to see where you're headed with it. Great job!

Definately a much better read than the last issue. Scott and Barda... man this guy knows how to flirt with women ;D The scene where Highfather is telling his story to the children was written perfect. I could see it before my eyes how he gestured and lowered his voice and everything. Pretty well done.
