One of the nice things about flipping the calandar page over each month is that I know It's time for one of the best series here on DC3 to release a new issue, it's a clear highlight of the month.
The kids continue to be a highlight of the series, I'm envious of your ability to craft them and have them interact so naturally. And obviously, Tim uses the female characters because they're faster and tend to have better kicking abilities, I mean, that's totally why I always use them. ;D
Bruce's staff at WayneTech is a great mixture of characters, nice novel uses of Jervis Tetch, Victor Fries and Derek Powers. They're all set up very well, and I'm sure they're going to be a lot of fun to watch in the next few issues as we see what, if anything, they might be up to.
But that's really the best thing about this series, the way all these great characters mesh together so naturally, someone reading this wouldn't be able to believe they come from such disparate sources. It's really amazing the way you do that.
The scene at the unveiling was full of more great characters and a deepening mystery. I can't wait to see what Cobblepot's true end game is and how Selina fits into the grander scheme, and your take on the Riddler is just fun as hell. The riddles are really inventive, and don't seem either too clever for their own good or so challenging as to be misleading. He's a hard character to write for a lot of reasons, but he's just one of a litany of chaacters you've mastered writing.
The ending was of course the capper on a great story, and I for one will be waiting on baited breath to see where it goes from here!
Hell of a job, my friend, hell of a job.

The writer of this series is an obvious Batman Beyond fanboy. That is something I can deeply respect.
Another good issue. It focuses less on the world of Carrie Kelly (I have a soft spot for the teenagers) and more on the world of Bruce Wayne. The corporate staff was an interesting mix and it's good to see a return visit from Mr. Cobblepot. The Riddler's return was cool and fun, and his partnership with our favorite mayoral candidate is an interesting development. Keep up the good work.

A very good issue, as I always expect from James, and thanks to Riz, it gets a great cover like it deserves. Thank you very much for stepping in and helping out!

You're welcome I liked this issue a lot. It was nice to see Freeze and Mad Hatter working for Bruce Wayne. And Riddler is working with Cobblepot? Interesting. I'm looking forward to the next issue.

My favorite thing about the way the both of us designed the Earth-5 Bat-villain gallery is the interconnections we weaved between villains. Bringing in Teetch and Frieze is just the beginning, and it's great to see =D You do have great interactions between the teens, and our first glimpse of Selina is awesome. Can't wait to see more

No surprise that Penguin is playing both ends. But I wonder about Fries and co, myself.
To me the Penguin/Riddler alliance spoke more Batman Forever than Batman Beyond, but that is no bad thing.

I am also a big fan of the mixing of all worlds you have going on in the Ultimate Gotham City, and it's fun to see you do it with such ease. Seeing the various characters interact was good, solid stuff as you build up the confrontations for later, as well as lay foundations for future tragedy and badness in the Wayne Corp. staff.
For a man who doesn't like Riddler and Penguin, you've sold me on them in this series. For one of the first costumed crazies Batman must face, Riddler works well, and you've made him a serious intellectual contender, which is cool. And Oswald is just wonderfully devious. Good work on that.
