Marvel and Beautia forever! I totally dig this! ;D A very nice (though very short) issue How did you get the idea of the multiple Cap-bots? Were it the old Superman-robots or something else?

I love this one =D the whole plot is perfectly (Big Red) Cheesey, I love the insults from the duplicates, i love the way it gets solved, and i LOVE Beautia's crush. It's so easy to tell reading this title how much you love writing it.

Thanks very much for the kind words you two. This was one of those just plain fun stories to write, obviously. Riz, I'm not sure exactly where the multiple Caps and Sivanas came from. It's an oft-used type of story from the older days of comics, and I was inspired most likely by all of them that I've read that use this theme, with my own little spin on them. Glad you enjoyed it. Beautia and Marvel. Beautia is one of my favorite updates to the Marvel mythos. The idea of sticking the stunning daughter of Sivana (who always had a crush on the Big Red Cheese, making her a Talia-esque figure long before Ra's came along ) I'm glad she's gotten well-received, she's fun to write. I went for the short issue largely because extending this story might have added too much weight to such a fun and corny premise. I'm a believer in letting the length fit the story. Let me say, things start to pick up from here, so hang on to your hats people. Lots of things that have been building start to pick up steam. And if you like Earth-S adn the Fawcett figures, make sure you check out Speeding Bullet: the Birth of Bulletman #1 at the end of the month, a mini-series that will lead back in to the double-sized, two-part finale of Mightest Mortals' first year! Take care Don

First off, no matter how cheesy he can come across... I love Sivana.
Second, this was a short and sweet issue. Nice and tight. It must have felt rough for Freddy with Billy not being at the funeral and him having to stand up to Tim like that knowing that Tim could pretty much wipe him out easily.
I liked the multiple Sivanas and Cap thing. It was a whimsical and fun idea.
I'm finally catching up here... the series is nice and light in some areas and dramatic and serious in others. It's a good balance.
The covers continue to impress. Very nice.

Let me just say that writing Sivana is a blast and a half! I get so much fun out of writing the World's Wickedest Scientist. There's never ever any need to restrain myself in writing him. One of my great disappointments in the switch from UDCU's own site to merging here is the loss of the Teen Titans and Outsiders series (along with their team-up special), which had Sivana as a main villain with some of my greatest writing for him. Perhaps it will see the light of day anyway. We'll see. Light and fun, and it was needed because after this issue, things start to get hairy for Fawcett City and our resident heroes. For evidence of that, go and check out Speeding Bullet #2, and then come back here for Mightiest Mortals #9, with a shocking ending. Glad to see you sticking around and enjoying, Pat. Take care Don
