I have to say "Thank You"s again Thank you, Brian, for being such a creative writer, for throwing in so many good ideas into the plot and for bringing this story to life. Thank you, Sam, for editing this book and helping us to introduce another team into the Earth Two world. I'm really happy to collaborate with you people and hope that you'll stay on this book for long LONG time.

Cool story guys. Nice action pacing. Good dialogue interaction (especially between Dick and Rose). A good twist thrown in at the end. And the looming mystery of who "they" are. Really interesting idea on the new headquarters. Sorta SHIELD?
On Dick Grayson though, being a fan of the different versions of the Earth 2 Robin costumes over the years, it would have been really cool to see something that reflected elements of those. And if this is the Robin/Nightwing that's been active since the 60s, how old is he? Unless there's something as-yet-unexplained going on there as well.
Great job. Again, it's awesome to see this world come to life and I couldn't ask for a better team of creators to head it up. Very sharp and eye-catching cover with one of the best, most effective logo designs I've seen yet. Looking forward to reading more!

Dick's Nightwing costume is ruined... Maybe you're going to see his older costume sooner or later Dick is in his mid/end 40's. We didn't want to make him too old. On E2 he appeared a few years later than in the comics

Smashing debut! Right out of the gate we get an exciting story, big action and a lot of character development. I love the dynamic between Dick and Vic best, but Rose is a stand-out as well.
And, of course, Joey has the best part in the issue (I'm thinking of the cliffhanger).
Someone is messing with the Titans big-time, trying to split them up internally! Can't wait to see Argent redeemed and the seducer get his!
I know we haven't seen the whole line-up yet, but I just want to say that the roster is a little inaccesible to long-time Titans fans (and given the central concept of E2, that is the audience). I understand that this is not "Teen" Titans, that this is a mature, grown team, older in almost every case than the Justice League of E2, so they should be given the proper gravitas. They are the TITANS! They should be Earth-Two's senior super team! Having characters like Argent, Hotspot and Ravager are well and good, but those guys are Johnny-(and Jill)-come latelies! I wanna see Roy and Garth and Donna and Kory and Wally! Maybe the Titans are kinda like the JSA of Earth-One (DC2), where it is a mixture of the older and newer generation?
Just a suggestion!
And as cool as Nightwing looks, I would also love to see the traditional adult Robin costume of Earth-Two--- like when he was ambassador to South Africa!
That cover rocked! Those are some good-looking people, Riz! The gallery at the end was terrific. I love all the extra touches you put into these titles, like the headshots for the roll-call.
All-in-all, a very impressive debut that has me eager for the next issue!

Full marks for Rose and Joey, the HIVE being sufficiently badass, and Argent as a bad girl.
But um guys? I think you might be working for Lady Luthor....
I'm sure we'll see Hot Spot again, and I note Gar and Flamebird is on the cover but not in the issue. That, combined with the Title, implies there are more to come.
Excellent stuff!
I also note the Perez homage cover....

I wanna see Roy and Garth and Donna and Kory and Wally! Maybe the Titans are kinda like the JSA of Earth-One (DC2), where it is a mixture of the older and newer generation? That's a really good point. Seeing as the JLA is a younger team with in some cases third generation mantle holders, the Titans would maybe be the senior team with a larger mix of heroes. A nice reversal. I forgot to mention the pin-ups at the end too. Very nice addition to the story guys. You all put in hard work on this and it shows.

Thank you guys. Yeah, the Titans are a team with two generations, but they are nothing like the DC2 JSA. In the issue Nightwing says: “I’m not disagreeing with you, but we all knew the rules when we signed on...." They are working for someone and you'll have to wait a little bit longer before you find out for who!

I've been waiting for this issue to come out, and it's good stuff. The story starts out great, with a good mix of superhero action and the personal dramas of the team. I would have liked to see more members from the cover, but i'm sure that's soon to come. Keep up the good work.

I need to say I don't read a lot of DC Fan Fiction. However... Riz's artwork here drew me to this issue. I was loving the pinups at the end of the story, loved the cover, and it drew me to read the story. I think my favorite pinup was Argent. Coloring and pose on that was awesome. This was a very cool setup, and I like the members of the team a lot. I was very impressed. It was the first story I've read here on DC3, and now it won't be my last.

Ha, we hooked him ;D
Thanks a lot Trevor. Glad you liked this issue and I hope you'll enjoy the other stories here on the DC3, too.

Well, guess I get to be the bad guy here. Not the role I like to play.
This issue was okay for me. The clash between high-octane action and maudlin soap opera tended to clash a little too much for me. This was enhanced by the fact that we don't really know these characters that the soap opera was striking, and so there was this attempt to make me feel for them when I don't yet know them. The rush of action kept me from getting to know them. So that part fell flat.
HIVE hiding inside Mount Rushmore (that's what I read, but I could have misread it) actually hurt my suspension of disbelief. THat's totally me, I know that, but hey...gotta mention it right? Also not a fan of the Carrier from Authority having joined the Titans. Again, just me.
I am confused about the revelations concerning Dhark and Jericho in this issue. Is Adeline Jericho's mom in Earth-Two? She is in the DCU, but that's not necessarily the case here, and there's very little evidence to say that's true, so I figured I would ask.
Some of the story seemed to be written with a "writers want this to happen" mindset, making some of the action weird for me. Surrendering...only to make a break for freedom when they were even more surrounded? Struck me as odd.
Have to side with Rose...lavender is a terrible costume for Dick. Especially bitter old pill Dick. I hope he gets over this being cheated on by Toni (I know, she didn't cheat on HIM, but he's reacting like she did, so I'll treat him like he feels cheated on), because this Dick is thoroughly un-fun, and not a Dick I care to read as a result. Not a fan of the headpiece for Dick either.
This was a case where staring in media res doesn't quite work. There's a lot of hints dropped about the history of the series, but it doesn't work because we don't know enough of anything to care. At least, I should say there was too little depth in anything to make me care.
I did like Vic and Rose. They seemed to be pretty spot on, and fun to read. The threat seems suitably large, I've always enjoyed seeing HIVE in action, so seeing them around as a big bad is great. I look forward to seeing more of that for certain. And Gar and Bette...two of my favorite TT members ever, that has me excited for the next issue.
Sorry to sound all doom and gloom. Hate being critical and negative, but sadly, issue one left me let down since I love this property, so here's hoping we pick up with issue two.
Take care Don
