Hippolyta's great, Terry's great, Kent and Inza are great, Libby and Shiera are great, everything's great! I wish there was something to do besides gush, but I loved it all. You have such a fantastic knack for writing these period pieces, we can tell how much you love doing it

Lots of good personal interactions here, especially in the early parts. I am glad the ladies figured out how to beat Grundy!
The last part, is of course, very sad.

Your gift for characterization is really given time to shne in this issue, the little character moments that are the highlight of your series take center stage, even as you bring us one thrilling story after another - for most authors nowadays you'd have to read a full arc to get as much as you bring us here in just this one issue.
Inza in particular shines in your hands and proves to be especially adept. I certainly hope she'll be around for more and I liked the introduction of Wildcat.
It's also interesting to see the contrast you create between the big time action JSA stuff and the moments that happen behind the mask, Carter's reaction to the note, Al and Amy - it's all really well done here.
The main thread of the first story, the top secret mission of Mister America and Wonder Woman promises to be really exciting when it gets going- the set up you give us here is enough to make the reader want to come back for more.
And for most people, that would be enough, but you give us more at that.
The fun continues with our heroines trying to overcome Solomon Grundy and the interaction between them, Grundy and Starman is just absolutely pitch perfect.
We get to see the full effect of the plan and it seems to have worked out just fine for our heroes, Carter's entrance is predictablebut the natural way to end the story, anything else would have cheated the reader out of a satisfying conclusion.
Lets hope Carter's words at the end prove prophetic, it would be a shame to lose these two from your stories.
And of course, not to be outdone, you give us even more with an unprecidented third story to savor of Golden Age action.
I like what you do with this series as well, what feeling and authenticity you give to it, the untranslated German, the unyielding well, Naziesque mentality - it's great that you're confidant enough in your writing and skilled enough to pull off letting the Nazis be Nazis without having to temper them somewhat or make them too PC.
The ending is of course heart wrenching, as sharp a stab as Miser America himself got to the reader. Even knowing it was coming, it still comes as a surprise, and an effective one at that. And hopefully Miss X continues on as well, would certainly be a shame if that's the last we saw of her.
Hell f a ride, three stories, three home runs out of the park. Perhaps we should be screening you for the writing equivalent of HGH?
