Tell me what you think of this issue! We're halfway through year 1, and been leading up to this for a while.
Tonight's bonus round: Spot the Broadway Reference!

Oh, boy, poor Harley. A well-set-up representation of what an abusive relationship is like. A crushing departure from some of the patented Gotham Girls Silliness. No Ivy tho - Altogether well-crafted. Nice.

thanks for reading, you guys I really hoped this one would be an emotional punch in the gut, so I'm glad to hear it's getting people into it. What's really funny is I'm pretty sure someone wanted a Joker-Scarecrow fight in the last issue, too XD Maybe I'll have to put out an 'alternate ending' sometime later this year!

I didn't expect it to end on a cliffhanger, that's for sure!
It's not that Harley isn't bright, it's that she's obsessed beyond reason with her "puddin". Until, that is, he slapped her. That was a mistake. A very, very dangerous mistake.
She's not as crazy as you Joker, but she's smarter than you think. And you just gave her Motivation.

This was an amazingly well crafted issue, really goes into great detail to explore the completely disfunctional relationship between Harley and The Joker and really runs us through the gammut of emotions - which is especially disconcerting where the Joker is concerned.
This relationship consumes the entire issue, the Joker looms large even when he's not in the scene during those interactions between Crane and Harley, but it's important to establish that since it no doubt will pay off in later issues and in her continued development.
I'm very interested in seeing where this goes from here, you've certainly done everything you possibly could to draw people in. Not as much fun, due to the subject matter, as previous issues, but it was a quality read all the same.

Wow. I finally found some time to catch up on the older issues. Sam, this is amazing. I never really cared about Harley in the regular DC. But you made me feel sad and angry at the same time with this issue. Poor Harley. Next issue... here I come. 5 stars
