Well, I admit that I haven't read the previous issues, but I thought i'd give this a shot. I was going to say that your Batman seemed really young, and then I remembered this is Maximus, and that's the point. So it worked i guess. I think you could have used a little more dialogue in this issue, just because it's easy to get lost in a flood of fighting, and I find that banter helps anchor the reader in the scene and keeps the pace going how you want it. I also think Bane went down too fast with the loss of the drug-- if it was supposed to be in his blood, it'd take a lot longer before he was completely weak. But overall you seem to be going where you want and having fun, and that's really what matters the most.
As for the cover, I'm awed. Looks really great and moody, and the poses are full of energy. good work!

After a longer break I return to this story. I think this was the longest fight scene I've ever read in a fanfic so far. It was well done and very visually described. I agree with Samantha that a little more dialogue would have been good, but I really liked the way you wrote Bane. The scene where he was going to break Batman's back was a classic and very well done. 4 stars. I look forward to the next two issues, which I'm going to read over the weekend.
