oh boy oh boy oh boy... what a great issue.
"He's not from around here" ? Interesting!!! I have a theory but I'll keep it to myself.
And the cliffhanger is NIIIIIIIIIICE. “I have something we may be interested in…”

This issue was pure entertainment from beginning to end. I love it when a writer can make me actually chuckle or even laugh out loud, and this issue had several moments that did just that.

First and foremost, Nigma's comment on how to take down Grundy. "Just like a normal person, except..." And then followed it up with, "I gotta go." Also nice imagery with Shazam hanging in the air saying he took care of it and Grundy slaming into the ground behind him. Another moment I found very funny.

And I'm become really intrigued with Nigma, too!

But I thought the real meat of this issue was the dialogue between Tempest and Cyclone. VERY well done. Very real. Very impressive.

And that has to be one of my favorite covers on this site to date. And that's saying a heck of a lot with the major talent that surrounds this site.

5 well deserved stars from me. Be back next issue.

Thanks Riz. There is a story behind where Fred comes from that may be worked out in the future. But there definately are plans for the cliffhanger. Thanks for reading and thanks for the amazing cover.

I'm glad you enjoyed those parts. And don't worry, Gene will have more to do in the future.

You honor me, sir. Those parts were fun to write, but I didn't know if they would make sense. I'm glad they worked.
