Not a big fan of this issue. It was choppy, some of the attempts at emotional tugs fell kind of flat for me, and the premise of the story left me cold. I'm a traditionalist about my heroes and this whole "an organization knows everyone's secret identity and is nearly impossible to remove the info" is one that bugs me. The vast army of clones and its implications again bug at me. I wish I could be more positive, but all in all, it just didn't do much for me. Like previous issues, there are things presented for the "swerve" value without really considering the plausibility and/or the consequences of what's revealed. That makes it tough for me to really get into the story.
The writing is solid enough, and there are some touches that are good (Vic commenting to Dick about how after all this time, he can figure out what Dick would order, for example). It did seem a touch short, but I'm not sure if it really was. Characterization was solid enough overall. But in the end, the very premise and ramifications of the story just really didn't work.
Take care Don
