I really liked this issue a great deal. Might be one of my favorites that you've done.

I thought the vingette approach worked out great as your regular players, and even a few surprise guests, get time in the spotlight. It's great that none of them detract from one another and you really get to play around a bit with their personalities, matching up the women with an appropriate quarry (or not in some cases, which is equally as interesting).

You have such a great introduction to this issue, it really sets the tone, a mix of danger and humor, well and helps to draw the reader deep into the story. It's amazing how well you're able to establish the Film Freak with just that opening little bit, but he's merely just the element that sets the story in motion, so he doesn't need to hang around all that long. The fact that it's usually Spoiler who deals with him tells us all we really need to know about his overall threat level.

Amongst all the players involved in the issue, Harley is just the best in your hands. I love how all of this is perfectly natural in her world, and while she's clear headed enough to recognize that these hyenas belong to someone, she doesn't question for a moment their presence on the street. It's that blend that makes her such an endearing character in your hands. This provides a great spin on the whole "but they followed me home" adventures young children seem to have with more conventional pets, but it makes perfect sense for Harley to adopt these hyenas.

I actually laughed out loud at Ivy's reaction to the news.

All in all, it's another great entry into the Gotham Girls canon, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.

My favorite scene was with Ivy and the horse, but Harley and the Hyenas were of course really sweet, too. I liked the involvement of the other characters like Catwoman and Spoiler, that we usually only see in the other books, but they were included nicely.
