Riz, I'm going to guess which character you are talking about and say that this is not the Metamorpho we know and love, but an "offspring" of that character. There are two actually as he has a "brother" named Synth, but he attends the rival school, Lex Luthor's School for the Gifted (or something like that).

Sounds good, David! I really believe that this should be an Earth 2 title too if at all possible as it sprang out of that initial concept. I guess I need to set something up in the Writer's forum so we can talk about it more and make sure there aren't any conflicts.

Here's an idea I had for an alternate universe Aquaman...

Arthur Curry grew up the son of the world's most famous sea explorer/adventurer/scientist - Tom Curry, The Aqua Man. But when exposed to strange ancient Atlantean technology on one outing, young Arthur developed unusual and extraordinary powers. He now had superstrength, super fast reflexes, the ability to survive underwater for hours on end, and an unexplainable connection to the sea itself. Now as an adult, he has taken over the role of Aquaman from his father and leads a team into one sea adventure after another. Utilizing his ultramodern island headquarters and amazing array of vehicles and weapons, Arthur Curry faces criminals, disasters, and bizarre phenomenon at every every turn as explorer and guardian of the world's oceans.

That's the gist of it. It's sorta Steve Zissou crossed with Johnny Quest, but with a super guy. His powers are more like those given to Captain America by the supersoldier formula but aquatic based. He's an oceanic bad ass regardless. Sorta like Batman of the sea.

I would have done something very like that with the Earth-X Aquaman, actually. Only this makes it look ten times cooler.

There's been a lot done as far as different Aquamen in recent years. Conan Aquaman, Water Elemental Aquaman, King Arthur Aquaman, etc. This is more of going back to the original Golden Age Aquaman idea and trying to update it and spin it into something fun.
