Oh it looks great Riz! You'll be a digital master yet! ^_^ You have an excellent concept of lighting on the face - it turned out great. Well - how do you feel you did? Are you pleased with it? Looks like I gotta watch my back from now on! LOL

I'm pretty happy with the result, although I think I should add a little more contrast in his hands and his arms, so that the shadows work better and you can define his fingers better. But all in all I'm pretty happy with my first attempt

You're right on the money. That would've been my only suggestion. More contrast. But see, I love me some blacks, blues, and shadows! LOL So I don't like to tell people it's what's missing in their work because, well, simply put, to each his own. But like you did the face - with the sharpness of light then cut to shadow - would do wonders by adding the same details to the rest of the image. Try to treat the colors as you do your black and whites - you have that concept down on your traditional works. You just gotta learn to convert the two - it's what I did! Best of luck to ya homie! ^_^

Okay, so I usually post the comments on your art over at the other site, so I figured I'd give my comments for this one over here...as a change of pace.
Great stuff! I love Adam Strange, and you capture his wonderfully 50's sci-fi feel and design combined with the nobility of this innate hero for another world. Colors just add to the alien, sci-fi feel. Great job!
Take care Don

Thanks a lot guys. I'm happy you like it Yesterday I was on a convention here in Germany and met Pasqual Ferry, the guy who drew the Adam Strange mini "Planet Heist". He drew me two sketches of Adam Strange, so I somehow had the urge to draw him, too

It's still in the planing stage, but I thought I might show you from left to right: Rubba Bubba, Princess Rapunzel, Atlas, Hound and Conscience Let me know what you think

Thanks Adam from left to right: Rubba Bubba, Princess Rapunzel, Atlas, Hound and Conscience Riz! I love this! Interesting characters and I think your style adapts perfectly in this cartoony, vaguely manga look. I would def like to see more of this concept.

Thanks Brandon. I'm currently drawing the first Episode of five for this title. It'll be called "True Heroes" and my partner and I are trying to translate it from German into English and to publish it in both languages
