Hey! The ever lovin' green-eyed Merainator here! Ahem, I should say up front, I'm from UDCU, where I write Ultimate Fourth World and hope to write more soon. So when the UDCU shift happens, I intend to move with the site and put up my work here as it's new home! In any case, firstly I want to thank Don and everyone for arranging for this wonderful site to be host to that stuff as well, and I intend to be an active member. I should note that I signed up to DC2 very briefly around the same time I joined UDCU but was driven away by the dense continuity and sheer number of issues that had to be read before I could start into any writing, so though it was an excellent site, I never went anywhere. This is a younger site though, so as I said, I hope to be more active and both contribute feedback to others and, after the changeover, recieve it. So anyway, hello all, and here's looking forward to a long time of story-telling and story-reading! (Incidentally, I've already read Earth's Mightiest Mortals and am quite impressed by a title I am traditionally not a fan of in real life!) So with that in mind, Make Mine... er... DC3?

Welcome to DC3, Merai. Nice to see you follow us over.
I'm happy to take my part of the credit for bringing UDCU to a new audience (and a new audience to some great UDCU titles that deserve more notice), but I can't take too much of it.
First, we need to thank Dave (Idlewilder) for building the DC2U multiverse and having it branch into this DC3 site. Remember, we're all parallel Earths of the DC2 world of Earth-1, and we should have fun with that structure.
Second, we should thank Charlie for taking over as EiC and being amenable (even excited) about the idea of a merger. We have exciting ideas in place, and I'm thrilled to take advantage of a great situation.
Finally, let's also say thanks in advance to all our artists in the art department, who produce such great work.
I'm glad to see you enjoying yourself, Merai, and look forward to more work from you as well.
take care Don

Thanks everyone! And Don, thanks for the correction- since I'm not fully keyed in to who did what, it was most informative and I want to extend my thanks (I seem to be using that word a lot...) to all the people involved in the change who I neglected before! Welcome, Merai! I love your obvious enthusiasm for DC fan fic! Heh, there's a nice irony... I actually initially was searching for such a site but for Marvel as I'm more of a Mighty Marvelite, but stumbled across DC ones, found they were better and the rest is history. Much appreciated, thanks for the warm welcome.
