WOW.......The cover is amazing. OMG, the book is excellent. Adult-oriented but not just for spite. Great beginning-I'm looking forward to lots of good stuff in this one. Jay Thanks, Jay! Well, look what I finally got around to XD Not a bad start, not at all. Earth-3 is interesting, and it looks like you guys know how to have fun with it. I think there was a little too much "roll call", and maybe it might have been better not to introduce everyone in the first issue, but it wasn't very jarring. Putting Terra in there is a big hook for me, since I'm a huge fan of her arc in the original comics. Of course, if Slade doesn't cross her path at all, I'll have to be dissapointed  I will say that I am a small girl and squinted my eyes a little at the sex XD I don't think it'll keep me from coming back, but I'm not a personal fan of anything that...detailed. If it were me writing it I'd have left it more vague, but that's me, and I was warned that it's rated R, so this isn't a complaint. Overall a good start, and I hope you keep it up and get even more involved with all the stories you can tell here. Are there any plans for other E3 titles down the line? |

If by fun you mean rampant, anything goes fan ficcing, than you got it! That's what readers can expect from this title! You may be right, but given the nature of what's going to happen in the next few issues, introductions had to be dispensed with early. Not everyone makes it to issue #2 (poor Power Ring)--- and not everyone will make it to issue #3 (and #4, and #5, etc). Hmmm... If I were a betting man, I would put money on their paths crossing... ;D Thanks for the feedback, Sam. But this title will not be for the young, uninitiated or faint of heart. Brian and I are pulling out all stops, and some of it won't be pretty. (Though, for the record, I don't think the scene is any worse than what can be found in some Vertigo or indy comics nowadays... though I could be wrong about that. I think it's just more jarring because these guys wear capes and we don't expect it.) Thanks for reading and for the feedback! Issue #2 is so close to being done, so you jumped on-board at the perfect time! As for a second title, I don't think so--- but if there were a few extra hours in the day, I could totally see Brian spinning off the Insiders! See ya back here in a week or so! |

To those who have patiently waited, and to readers who have since discovered this title, I am pleased (and relieved) to annouce that Crime Syndicate of Amerika #2 is finished, and will post a week from tomorrow, on the 4th of July--- and yes, there will be fireworks!
(For those of you who haven't seen it yet, Riz has whipped up an awesome cover!)
